Our Vision

OUR VISION: THE SALVATION OF SOULS FOR ALL PEOPLES

The Bannabikira walked and are still walking in the footsteps of their Founder. Their vision stems from the vision the late Archbishop Stensera had 117 years ago. While deliberating to establish the Bannabikira Congregation he beautifully wrote to his superiors in 1904: “I would like to start a congregation of native women who would work tirelessly for the salvation of souls with a motherly spirit”

This is how the Bannabikira Sisters participated in the salvation of peoples souls:

From the inception of our Congregation, the Bannabikira Sisters instructed young children, youths, and older people into the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

They prepare the children in schools, young adults, old people and converts to receive the 7 Catholic Sacraments such as Baptism, Marriage etc.
